The Race TeamBaker Motorsports was built from the ground up by John Baker. John began his off-road career working for Larry Plank at Plank Motorsports. After a few years with Larry, John moved on to Penhall Fabrication, Inc. Under Jerry Penhall's tutelage, John became an expert off-road vehicle fabricator, quickly learning what was needed to win races. Using this experience, John built a race truck of his own, which he repeatedly drove to victory in the deserts of Southern California, Nevada, and Baja. Feeling the need to expand, John founded Baker Motorsports in his home town of Huntington Beach, California. Building race trucks with the help of his supportive team, John races to victory in multiple races each year.
